WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO ATTEND?

Eligible employees include full and part-time regular, temporary and project employees of ESPN and Disney working in CT, as well as ESPN employees based in New York and Disney employees based in NY, working on/supporting ESPN business and/or content. For the Disney employees based in New York, registrations will be available on a first-come, first-served basis up to 500 employees + their guests.

Workers who do not receive a payroll check from TWDC are not eligible including consultants, freelancers, independent contractors, agency-paid temporaries, or those working under other service agreements.

WHO CAN I INVITE?

Each employee may invite their dependent children plus 1 guest.

WHO QUALIFIES AS A DEPENDENT CHILD?

We utilize the Disney definition of a dependent – which is age 19 or younger or up to age 23 if the dependent is a full time student. Adult children who live at home because they are dependent on their parents for financial support do not qualify unless their parents are still their guardian – e.g. have a disability. We also make exceptions for foster children or exchange students living in the home.

I DID NOT RECEIVE A CONFIRMATION EMAIL, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

The confirmation email is generated automatically once you have completed registration. If you don’t receive this within an hour of registering, please contact us at: [email protected]

WHAT IF THERE IS INCLEMENT WEATHER?

The Picnic is held rain or shine! In the case of dangerous weather, we will alert all registered guests of any changes to the Picnic schedule as far as possible in advance of the event.

IS THERE A LOST AND FOUND?

The lost and found will be located at the Group Sales Office at Lake Compounce. Any items found during ESPN the Picnic will be brought there at the close of the day on Monday, August 21.

I HAVE A HEALTH OR SAFETY CONCERN ON-SITE, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

ESPN Safety & Security will have a tent setup between the Water Park and Carousel for the duration of the Picnic. Feel free to stop by any time.

WHERE DO I GO IF I NEED TO RENT A STROLLER OR WHEELCHAIR?

Both stroller and wheelchair rentals are located at “Chuckles” outlet just inside the main gate at Lake Compounce. The equipment will be complimentary to Picnic guests and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

I DON'T SEE MY DEPARTMENT LISTED. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

MY GUEST IS ARRIVING SEPARATELY, WHAT SHOULD WE DO?

Not to worry! So long as you have registered your guest and we have their name already, they simply need to proceed directly to the Picnic Registration at the entrance to Lake Compounce. Please be advised, that your guest will be required to show valid photo identification when they arrive. Your guest may also be asked for your first and last name. Please make sure they have this information when they arrive.

I DO NOT KNOW WHERE TO FIND MY PERNR NUMBER

It is located on your Disney ID underneath your picture. It is also available on your SAP Information page. To locate your PERNR number please log into the ESPN Portal, click on the Personal Tab and your PERNR number will be displayed. If you cannot locate it, please send us an email at [email protected]
